The Samdin Family Collection
Baba Amin is the third of six. Each mug follows one member of the Samdin family through a daily routine you'd recognise, lived the way Gaza lives it. Every family member is named for something they don't have: peace, happiness, hope, safety, life. Their family name, Samdin (صامدين), means steadfast.

Everything they're named for was taken. Except their name.

The design
The mug is hand-illustrated in soft colored pencil and wraps all the way around. It's woven with Palestinian details: Baba's kufiya, olive branches, a glass of tea, and tatreez cross-stitch stars.
